Budgeting
There is a budget deficit of approximately $2000 for all expenses for the rest of the year. The summer Hamfest will bring approximately $1200.
The board decided to go with having the board meetings 4 times a year and also reduce the newsletter, containing the board minutes and general meeting reports. The meeting notes will be posted on the website every month. The compensation of board member dues was discussed and tabled for now. Continuing the door prize was also discussed and tabled. The dutch auction will be continued. Members are invited to bring in items to sell with a small percentage for the club.
Winter Hamfest
Proceeds from the Winter Hamfest brought a net profit of $1,462.38. There were 317 tickets sold. This Hamfest was a great success. The board would like to thank everybody that volunteered and helped. It was very much appreciated. It was suggested that we serve chili again at the Summer Hamfest.
