The KØARF group would like to borrow a generator for a May
7th outing. There were no objections.

Should the Board members pay dues? John, WØZCA couldn't
find any mention in the by-laws about this except that all
board members must be club members and to be a club
member dues must be current. More research on the by-laws
will be done.

Should we continue to have a door prize every meeting? Up to
$60 dollars a year are handed out each year for this. It was
moved and seconded to have a door prize of $5 each meeting
with no carry over of unclaimed prize money. Past.

WØSV's licensee is up for renewal. We need a trustee for the
ten year term of the FCC license. Volunteers or suggestions
asked for.

The 94/34 is down. The water tank in Sauk Rapids is being
painted so it's in the clubhouse for needed repairs.
Ed, KØVU has volunteered to convert the Micor repeater in
the backroom to amateur use if the club supplies the parts.
We're working on this.

Field Day will be at Fred Duke's lake cabin on Long Lake near
Sauk Center, June 25 & 26. Chairperson and volunteers
needed.

No demo for the meeting tonight. Demos suggested: Club HF
equipment explained. Digital modes class. Tour of other
antenna farms or stations.

Fund Raising. The board is putting together a presentation to
give to service groups that have pull-tab monies to distribute.
Members of service are asked to provide the board with
information on applying for grants. Some of the groups
mentioned are: Eagles, VFW, Legion, Lions, Elks, Rotory.

Tony, KØVSC purchased some of the antenna hardware in
back of the clubhouse for $20.

Hamfest date is August 13. The change from the end of the
month was due to National Guard activity the last two
weekends of August.

Chad, KCØEQF will discontinue his EchoLink node as of May
1. Should the club put up a Link? General consensus was to
proceed and use the same simplex frequency.

The coax for the HF station needs replacing. Suggested that
members that need coax buy with the club for a larger
purchase and volume discount. We're checking around for
prices.

Classes Sunday at 1 PM. Jack thought it was time to build J-
pole antennas again. Contact Jack, WØMBD.

Open House this Saturday at 1 PM.

Jim, KCØEQE won the World Radio subscription.
Meredith would have won the $5 door prize if she'd been here.
Next month still $5.

Meeting adjourned at 7:55 PM
