New Business

The estate of WØMFI has donated a transceiver ICOM765
with a Heil Interconnect for speech that will be kept by the
club. A Thank You will be sent. There is other equipment
that will be available for silent auction, with the proceeds
going back to the estate.

Field Day

It will be held June 25th at Fred Duke's house, which is 6
miles north of Grey Eagle. He is making a map. There is
plenty of land to camp or park on. If you wish to
participate, please RSVP at: hambone at astound dot net or at
the next General Meeting. The tower is up and the
antenna will be soon. Fred is looking for cable.

Hamfest

The Hamfest will be held August 13 and Jack sent out the
faxes to the magazines. We will be offering chili again.
The flyer is still in the design process and should be sent
out right after field day. The flyer will be a full sheet,
folded in thirds. Outside vendors should bring their
handheld radios for announcements on 146.700 Jack is
attempting to contact someone who will do name tags or
mini license plates. Charlie will be seeing if we can get a
card checker. We are also looking for volunteers to help
out again.

Classes

There are 4 people who will be taking the test this
weekend.

Demonstration

Chad Gross was to demonstrate his echo link but he was
called to work. He might be back for Saturday's open
house starting at 1PM.

SkyWarn will be holding a meeting here next Wednesday
at 7PM and there will be radio tuning available. If anyone
is interested in having their radio tuned, they are welcome
to come.

The 9434 repeater is here in the back room. It is not
working and they took it out of service until the water tank
is painted and should be back in up in June.
